Wow! How time flies! My baby is 2 years old! And what a riot he is. We were in Wyoming for his birthday, and he had a great time. We have another party for him in 2 weeks, and he will get his Powerwheels and I will make him a "big truck" cake! It is going to be so much fun!

Mother's Day

Oh, what a joy to be celebrated as a Mother! I always knew I wanted to be a mother, but had no idea what an incredible experience it would be. My boys are so amazingly beautiful, and I treasure every day with them. Bradyn squeals, giggles, and rolls all over the place and Jaxon . . . oh, Jaxon! He is such a busy boy. Full of life, spunk and personality. His days are filled with activity. He loves to escape to the toy room with seasoning salt, salad dressing, baby powder, or anything else he can spray, shake or dump all over the carpet. He microwaves toys, climbs the furniture, eats sand dirt and dog food, yet refuses all veggies & most fruits. He learned today that shreaking "pop" while in the back seat of the car made the baby cry, so he did it over & over. When he was almost asleep, I yelled "pop" at him several times. His reaction. . . he opened his eyes each time, smiled at me real big and then reclosed those baby blues. Nothing really phases the kid. He is hilarious, but also so sweet. He is filled with hugs & kisses, and when asked whose boy he is, he replies, "boy, Mommy's boy". He almost always wakes smiling, with lots of hugs, and excited to face the day. He loves to play outside, and is talking more and more each day! What a guy! Am I proud? You bet! I LOVE MY BOYS! They are the best part of my life, and I hope that I can do right by them! I am a mother, yes I am! Gone are the days of adventure seeking. I will not bungee jump, I will not seek that next adrenaline rush. My job is to protect my life & health, so that I may give my children the love & encouragement they need, so that I may empower them and teach them how to be kind & caring, while helping them to grow into creative, adventurous, confident young men. What an awesome job it is, and will come with many joys & sorrows! Oh, the things they teach me, the joy they give. What a wonderful thing it is to be . . . Mom!
