The Clean-Up Crew!

I looked into the kitchen after Jaxon finished supper to find Zoey standing on top of the walker cleaning off the tray, and Cheyenne detailing the carpet underneath. Makes my job a lot easier. All I have to do is pick up the fruit, and follow up with a Clorox Wipe! I got a kick out of this scene, did you? (hint, hint)

Fun With Socks!

Jaxon and I had a great time playing with socks this morning! It started with me throwing them in his direction, and calling them sock bombs, and soon he was joining in the fun and throwing them too! We do have fun with the simplest things! What a fun little guy!

Jaxon LOVES grilled cheese

Jaxon loves eating table food, and his new favorite is grilled cheese! He can turn a grilled cheese sandwich into a gummy blob of paste in no time! The dogs enjoy it when he eats this treat, too because he always drops them and they get the leftovers!

My little Dozer!

Here is an action shot of Jaxon playing bulldozer with his tower! If we build the tower, he will do whatever it takes to get to that tower and knock it down. Sometimes he uses his hands, and sometimes he uses his head like a little bulldozer!

Visit With Great-Grandma Katie

On our way back from Wichita, we stopped at Brady's Grandparent's! Jaxon got his picture taken and we had to drop a copy off with them. Jaxon really enjoyed his visit and Katie & Clarence enjoyed seeing Jaxon too!

Jaxon & Ella

Jaxon & I went to Wichita to celebrate my God-Daughter, Ella's first birthday! Jaxon & Ella interacted a little bit! It was a fun trip!

Whipped Cream

Jaxon played with whipped cream while Brady, my Dad and I played cards. We all had a great evening and I won a game of Pinocchle!

Jaxon has a set of stacking cups that we stack in a tall tower. Jaxon likes tipping them over, and he has added his own spark to his game. He now approaches the cups, and puts his hand out to tip them over, then pulls it back and rams the tower over with his head! He is a character!

Time With Grandpa Gene

Grandpa Gene came to visit Jaxon this week. They have had a great time together, and I have really enjoyed watching them together!

The Love of Books!

Jaxon loves to read books. I can read up to 7 or 8 at a time and he listens attentively. He really enjoys turning the pages on the "chubby" books,(like the one pictured) but likes them all a lot. We try to read every day. It is a fun time for me, because I LOVE reading aloud. I have always enjoyed reading book after book to Jada, and hope that Jaxon loves books as much as she does!

On the Move!

Jaxon is changing every day! He has been crawling everwhere and pulling himself up on furniture. Today he got really brave with his laugh & learn chair! He also rode his tractor for the first time. He is a bouncer, and he got on the seat of the tractor and bounced away! He is so much fun!

Life At Home

Jaxon is growing and changing so much! His crawling skills have been perfected and he can get wherever he desires! He is also starting to pull himself up on furniture and is SO proud when he succeeds. He pulled the Christmas tree over the other day, and the only time he cried is when I moved him away from the tree. Apparently he saw the toppling of the tree as a great accomplishment! I put in the pic in the John Deere hat to show just how much he looks like his Dad!

Christmas in Wyoming!

We had a great time in Wyoming at my Mom & Dad's. My sister, Jessica, her husband, Larry and my niece and nephew were there too! Jaxon had a great time with his Grandparents and loved playing with the kids! He got lots of neat things for Christmas, and liked the wrapping paper best!
