The Three of Us

All of our company has gone and it is the three of us. The house is quiet, and we definitely miss all of the people that we love so much, but we have enjoyed our new little family. Brady and I have been hanging out with Jaxon, watching him sleep, holding him and talking about how incredible he is. Our little one will be one week old tomorrow! I can't believe it--it seems like he just arrived. It has gone so fast! If I had one wish it would be to freeze time for a little while! I value every second, but they fly by!

Getting Sleep

We had a great night last night. Jaxon slept! And he did it in his own bed. He only woke up twice to eat, and I was able to sleep too! It was great. Today he had his first outing. We went to the grocery store with Jessica, Jada and Tanner. Jaxon did great (of course he slept the whole time) and we are home and things are awesome!

Sleeping Angel

This little guy has stolen my heart in a way that I could have never have imagined! Everybody told me I would love him in an incredible way, and now I understand what they meant. The feelings I have for my little boy are bigger than I ever though possible. It is the most incredible feeling in the world. I love him so much and am so thankful that he is mine! Maybe it is the new mother thing, maybe part hormones, but it brings tears to my eyes! I have never had such strong feelings in my life, and I think it is great! Now I have an understanding of how much my mother loves me!

Our Miracle

Our little miracle arrived on 5-23-06 at 5:16 p.m. He weighed 7lbs 5 oz and was 20 inches long! We have been blessed with a healthy beautiful son! We are very thankful that the delivery was quick and easy and he is so very healthy! He is hungry and crying, so I will update again soon!

Induction Soon!!

I am sooooooooooo excited! I am scheduled to be induced tonight at midnight. Tonight I will get my cytotec to ripen my cervix, and tomorrow morning the Dr. will start a pitocin drip. Tomorrow night at this time I should have my little Jaxon in my arms. What an amazing feeling that will be.

A Masterpiece in the Making

Check out the mural! It isn't finished, but Leanna has been hard at work in Jaxon's nursery. Doesn't it look incredible! I am so impressed with it and couldn't wait to share it with everybody! My goal is to create a perfect nursery for my perfect little boy, and now with Leanna's help, that will happen!
